BASIC INFORMATION:

​

Cost to participate: FREE. However, we will be collecting voluntary donations at the concert to offset the cost of the venue, sound, and leadership.

​

Commitment to participate:

​

  1. Please plan on attending ALL rehearsals: 

    • Saturday, April 9, 2022 @ 9am-12pm

    • Saturday, May 14, 2022 @ 9am-12pm

    • Saturday, June 4, 2022 @ 9am-12pm

    • Sunday, June 5, 2022 @ 2pm-3pm (sound check)

  2. Commit to playing the soundtracks repetitively (at least once per day) before the first rehearsal. 

  3. Commit to knowing the lyrics by heart by the second rehearsal.

Concert information:

​

  1. June 5, 2022 @ 4:00-5:30 p.m.

  2. You will need to arrive at the theater at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements can be made for the little singers to come later.

  3. INVITE EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO COME EXPERIENCE JESUS IN REVELATION!

WHO CAN JOIN US:

 

Everyone! Yes, I said EVERYONE.

​

In the past, SHEMA has been a ministry to youth. But the power of the Scriptures to transform the heart has no age limit, and since 2013 when we began there have been countless parents, grandparents, uncles, and aunts who have reported their own faith walk being significantly impacted by the songs and passages their kids are learning and singing around the house.

​

This year, WE ALL NEED to refresh our vision of Jesus the King. That's why this year there is no age limit on who can be in the choir. Come young and old and raise your voice with us!

​

DETAILS:
​

  1. Children ages 7 and younger must have an accompanying adult in the choir and will sit by that adult during rehearsals and in the concert. Again, there is no minimum age. I only ask that young children be attended and engaged for the purpose of the choir.

  2. The choir will be standing for the concert. If you enjoy movement, please see the "dance" page. But if you're in the choir, there will be no choreography to learn.

  3. We will be asking for men to wear black and women to wear white in the concert. Be ready to comply with our dress guidelines.

THE MUSIC:
​

  1. Please download the music tracks (file link below) and use them to memorize the words. YOU SHOULD COME TO THE FIRST REHEARSAL ABLE TO SING ALL THE SONGS. (You may use your lyric sheets.)

  2. Also please download and print the lyric sheets for the songs (file link below). 

  3. Consider memorizing the lyrics and music.
